The sun's not the only thing that's come out

Hello, everyone, how's the weekend? I should be in bed on Sunday night, but had to tell you all about our latest discovery in Auckland. It's gotten pretty nice here in recent days and people seem to finally feel secure in believing spring has arrived (big hooray!). Yesterday I was in the back on the landing that overlooks the bay, watching the people fish from the reef at low tide. I happened to then look way, way down to the bottom of the cliff and the beach that lies below us. There were a few people milling about and they appeared to be... nude? No. I'm sure they weren't actually nude. Naked? As in, just walking around wearing nothing at all? Yep! That's what I was seeing!

I didn't want to look like a total weirdo staring at them, but hey, who was naked and who was not?? I ran up and got my camera and snapped a few quick shots before anyone could yell at me to stop. We're so far above the beach that I doubt anyone noticed me up there with my foot-long lens. Phallic symbols were just the star of the show yesterday, weren't they!

And being the first-born neurotic girl that I am, I don't want to get in trouble for having naked people on my first ever blog, so I very cleverly used Kiwifruits to disguise the bum. Had the dubious honor of seeing the rest of the package too, but I'll spare you that. There are just things that I don't care to see bouncing around the beach. There were more people down there too, but this was the only guy that wasn't under a tree for the 7 seconds I was taking my very stealthy spy photos (and giggling).

If things get more interesting than this as the weather heats up, I'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop.

:o) Night night! K.
