This is a bit embarrassing, but I have to tell you guys that I've surprised even myself with the delirious joy that has resulted from my successful update of Flip4Mac Windows Media Player which allows me to listen to Coast FM online. Coast FM is the time-warping radio station that provided the 70s soundtrack to my drives along Tamaki Drive, singing along with Neil Diamond and the Bee Gees and learning that there were capsicums on sale at the Countdown supermarket.
And now I can sit right here in our dining room in Ohio and hear that delightful Kiwi accent and feel like I'm still there! Pure joy, no kidding. In fact, I could indeed say that I'm on ... top of the world looking down on creation and the only explanation I can find ... is listening to my favourite Kiwi radio station!! What a dork!!!! :o)
